National Long-Term Care Administrator’s Week

This week is National Long-Term Care Administrator’s Week, where we honor and celebrate the important role our Administrator has in providing leadership for delivering quality, resident-centered care and a supportive work environment. At Huntington Court, we are so fortunate to have Amy as our wonderful Administrator!

Amy has all of the right qualities that make her a great Administrator. She cares about the staff and residents equally. She strives to make sure the residents are given the best possible care and, in order to do that, she makes sure that the staff are also well cared for. She has initiated Employee of the Month recognition as well as a monthly employee appreciation party for all the staff! At these parties, the staff is provided lunch, door prizes, and recognition for years of service and perfect attendance.



You will also find her out and about daily visiting residents to make sure their needs are being met. She will drop everything at a moment's notice if a resident needs something. Whether it's to talk or something from the store, she'll stop what she's doing and go take care of it personally.

In her free time, Amy enjoys participating in church activities, working with the youth, spending time with family and friends, and most recently being an aunt to her first niece!
