State Tested Nursing Assistants
We are currently seeking highly motivated, dependable and compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) in a team environment. Currently hiring for Day and Night Shift,
full-time and part-time STNAs (We offer $1/hr shift differential for Night Shift). Shifts: 7:00 - 7:00. If you are not currently licensed as an STNA, Huntington Court is offering to send you to STNA classes!
The primary purpose of this position is to provide residents with routine direct care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan. You must have the ability to establish relationships with residents, work well independently and as part of a team. You must be able to maintain a positive environment in which the residents are treated with kindness, dignity, and respect. Must have a strong work ethic and possess exceptional customer service skills.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
- Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
- Must be able to relay information concerning a resident’s condition.
